In Case You Didn't Know...

We are the Wills Clan. We seem to move around the world at the whim of the most curious of large corporations in the Universe; the U.S. Army. We have, once again, moved back to Germany. And once again, it was not what we were asking for. It seems that Germany is the "colsolation prize" when it comes to assigning the Wills Family. It could be worse- we could be Back at Bragg (unless you're John Rambo, then that would be a good thing).

We are out and about, making friends, influencing people. Thanks to speaking German, traveling and engaging with the locals is easy enough. And thanks to the European Union's economy tanking even worse than America's (hard to imagine), the exchange rate is a bit better, so we are out and about more often. In a nice change from Arizona- the beer is good, and offered in both half and full liter servings (pints indeed, Mister Pippin).

Life abroad with only two broads- one is in Florida now

We are settled in Germany, Heidelberg to be exact. Only this time Sharayah won't be coming along; she'll lvining in our house in Florida going to college. She's a Junior this year.  It's going well, well but expensive (sometimes I wonder if Roberto Boucher Sr was in Orlando instead of New Orleans). Alyssa is here with us doing her best to avoid going to college, and working only enough to make money to go out. Thanks to German law, she can drink here at 18. Her biggest culture shock was when we went back to Florida and without thinking she ordered a Margarita and the waitress carded her. "No alcohol for you miss 18 year old" said the TGIF waitress. Before I forget- Laura and Robert are still waiting to pursue THEIR dream of not having insane teenagers in the house...

The plan is to do this gig in Germany then have about two years left before Robert retires from the Army (and pretty much everything else). Thanks to my friend's lectures on Peak Oil, we will be buying a sailboat to cruise the oceans to fill the time between retirement and death. The boat that is leading the list of candidates to act as the Wills Mobile Home (a good name for a boat) are the 42-47 foot Leopard Catamarans . A nice biodiesel engine will give us power if we need it, but otherwise it will be the wind working for us. Sorry, I got a little off track there. Photos of the house are forthcoming. The Dolar-Tiki page, by the way, is up and running- Browse away!!

I am sorry to say we never got to take our trip down into Mexico to tour some of the Alien/Aztec Pyramids. Stupid drug wars!  You know they were built by Aliens, just admit it. The pyramids, not the drug lords...  We also never made it down to Belize to visit our two properties there (one in Progresso, the other in the capital of Belmopan). If you want to live near us (who wouldn't?), hop over to www.progressoheights.com and pick up a plot of land yourself. We have a lot on Pelican Place, section 4, lot 409/94. It's really nice down there; they speak English, the exchange rate is set at 2:1 by the Government, and we are only a few hours from Cancun. And if you DON'T want us as neighbors, you can buy this piece of property we have in the capital of Belize- Belmopan. It's a nice spot for a house or business!  Give it a look! We will hop down there while we're in Florida.

Belize is the place to live- it's right on the Carib, and Progrsso Heights is on a great inland lagoon so we have ocean access. I can feel the salt spraying over the bow of my Cat-cruiser; either Passing Wind (if I get my way) or the 7 Fathoms (if Laura gets her way). Passing Wind because I like passing wind, and a sailboat really, really needs a passing wind. Yeah, Laura's not going for it either. So it will probably be 7 Fathoms, since afterall, a fathom is 6 feet, so a 42 foot boat would be, you guessed it, 7 fathoms long. If we get the 45 or 47 foot Cat, we may have to add "and a bit" to the name, so we might just have to go with the 42 footer just to make the name fit better. Maybe I can name the skiff Passing Wind...

You are visitor number 25904 to this site.
Doesn't that give you a warm and fuzzy feeling?
Me neither.

Information from the North East West and South!

Alyssa Came in Third in the Sierra Vista Talent Show!  Alyssa- our resident singer who never stops (just visit the Willshabitants for an explanation)- entered into the city talent show with two of her friends ended up coming in third for the 16-18 catagory.  Here's the video (it's 35 Meg) of her performance... Be aware that I was using a trial-version of some  conversion software so it might be a little quirky. That and I force-fed a 35 Meg file into Freeservers (via Filezilla) when they don't like things over  1/2 meg!

Robert's Latest Schemes! He's running not one, but two completely unrelated businesses- Second Hand Wand Sales and Sixtoesinnovations. So if you need a custom-made Magic Wand (that's the Second Hand Shoppe) or need to be able to take the doors off her Jeep comfortably (that's the Sixtoes site), hop over and take a look!!

Rome, Naples, and Venice photos are
hard copies, so they most likely won't make it here. We did go there, honest!
I'll tell you what- if enough people (translation: two)
people send me a buck, I just might scan them in and post them!
